HONOLULU–March 2, 2023–Holoholo, the only locally owned rideshare company in Hawaiʻi, is looking to recruit at least 40 drivers on Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi & Lānaʻi for its pre-scheduled trips, last minute ride requests, and newest service offering, holoholo Assist.
Holoholo Assist helps local community members on Oahu who qualify to receive non-emergency medical transportation and rides to other destinations. The service is designed to help those who cannot take public transportation.
Benefits of Driving for holoholo:
Earn $200/Day, Guaranteed.
To earn $200/day, you must be available to drive for holoholo for 8 hours and accept the pre-scheduled trips assigned to you with no cancellations.
Know Your Day.
Holoholo accepts pre-scheduled rides as well as rides on demand. Holoholo can assign trips to drivers the day before, so you know where you’re going, how many rides you’ll be giving, and what time you need to be there.
Choose Your Schedule.
As a holoholo driver, you can sign-up to drive for one day per week or every day. You can choose when you want to start and when you want to stop.

Driver requirements:
- 21 years or older
- A minimum of three years of driving experience
- Pass an initial and ongoing comprehensive background and driver history check
- A vehicle: 4 doors, minimum of three seats, and eight years old or newer (no limousines or trucks)
- Smartphone with holoholo Driver App
- Read and accept best-driver practices
- Pass a pre-trip inspection
- Pass ongoing wellness checks
And provide the following information:
- Valid Hawaiʻi driver’s license
- Proof of residency
- Vehicle registration
- Personal vehicle insurance
- Hawaiʻi Vehicle Inspection Sticker
