Plan Ahead, Ride with Aloha
You can schedule your Honolulu airport transportation up to one year in advance or request a ride once you land. To make sure a driver and vehicle are ready when you are, we recommend booking at least 7 days before your flight. Since drivers can’t wait curbside or circle the terminal, set your pickup time for at least 30 minutes after your scheduled arrival to allow time for bags and TSA.

Yes, we recommend booking your HNL pickup at least 7 days in advance, especially during busy travel seasons. Unlike Uber, you can schedule a ride up to one year before your flight.
Arrivals
We recommend you add 30 minutes to your flight arrival for airport pick-ups. This should allow you time to collect your luggage, go through customs, TSA, or other checkpoints.
As a rule, our dispatching team does track flight status and can adjust or update pick-up times based upon the flight arrival.
Departures
Arrange your departure pickup time to be 2 1/2 hours prior to your flight departure time. This will provide sufficient time to get to the airport and through security.

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) is located about 6 miles from Waikīkī. Depending on traffic, the drive usually takes 20 to 30 minutes by car.
HNL is the main airport on Oʻahu and one of the busiest in the U.S., serving over 20 million passengers each year. It has three terminals and is a hub for domestic flights, international arrivals, and inter-island connections. Terminal 2, which handles most international traffic, includes a food court between Gates E2 and E4, as well as shops and services throughout the airport.
HNL offers a variety of dining and retail options across all three terminals. The main food court is located in Terminal 2 near Gates E2 and E4, and additional grab-and-go and sit-down options are available before and after security.
Additionally, the airport provides shuttles and walkways to help passengers transfer between terminals. Be sure to allow extra time if you’re connecting between terminals for inter-island or international flights.
While holoholo doesn’t offer tours directly, we can take you to popular tour departure points across Oʻahu, including Pearl Harbor, Hanauma Bay, Diamond Head, and North Shore surf spots. Booking your transportation in advance makes it easy to start your adventure right after landing.
