If you’re planning to visit Hawaii in February, there’s plenty to do to keep you busy. February is typically much cooler (still in the 70’s during the day), and nights can get in the 60’s. February can also be rainier than other times of the year, but winter showers are usually still short and only last about 10 minutes. Favorite things to do in Hawaii include whale watching, fishing, surf competitions, Pearl Harbor tours, and more.
Whale Watching
Whale watching is a favorite activity for tourists all through the winter months with a variety of whale watching tours available. This time of year is when the whales migrate from the Pacific Coast to Hawaii, where the waters are still warmer and more inviting. There are also great places to see whales from land such as Makapuu Lighthouse on Oahu Poipu Beach on Kauai, and Kohala Coast on the Big Island.
